Welcome to Bipolar Biweekly!
Bipolar Biweekly, founded by Aidan McKee, aims to create a platform where individuals can openly discuss their experiences with mental health. Having lived with Bipolar Type 2 Disorder for over 10 years, Aidan firmly believes in the power of honesty and sharing in order to provide support to those who are about to face or currently facing the challenges of feeling trapped within their own minds.
During Aidan's own journey, he witnessed the pain reflected on the faces of his caregivers. Despite coming from a family familiar with mental health issues, he recognized a significant lack of preparation. This realization became the driving force behind the creation of Bipolar Biweekly. The mission is to assist individuals in preparing for, enduring, and repairing their mental health experiences through the sharing of stories and personal encounters.
It is important to note that stories alone do not provide all the solutions, but they possess the potential to instill bravery and empower individuals to seek the necessary care when they need it most. Sharing one's story requires courage and bravery, and Bipolar Biweekly encourages everyone to explore the beautiful and heartrending contributions from individuals who have lived experiences dealing with mental health challenges.
By uniting in the act of sharing stories, we can enhance the opportunities for recovery and personal growth while living with mental health challenges. Together, we can foster a supportive environment that encourages dialogue, empathy, and understanding, ultimately transforming the way society perceives and addresses mental health.
